Normandy Park Fire Station is a 20,000 SF Fire Station for the cities of Normandy Park and Burien. The project consisted of constructing a two-story, steel, wood and masonry framed building that included three large apparatus bays, a large maintenance bay, training areas, classroom, Dispatch and office area, sleeping quarters, kitchen, day room, exercise room, utility room and bath/shower rooms. There is a third-story mechanical mezzanine and training area included in the high bay portion of the structure. A two-story elevator was also included. This was a two-phase project, completing the new building for occupancy prior to demolishing the existing fire station.
